If you are tall enough to reach the pedals then we believe that you should be able to Race.

The simulators are not suitable for individuals with the following conditions:
  • Photosensitive epilepsy
  • Heart problems or high blood pressure
  • Highly sensitive to motion sickness
  • Pregnant women
Our full motion simulator is generating forces to simulate car movement and therefore are not suitable for individuals with weak necks and frail backs.

Race individually or as a team of two or more Drivers against other teams. Batak light reaction challenge games and our motorcycle simulators can be utilised to accumulate additional points!

Where there's a will there's a way! We have ways of ensuring that individuals with disabilities don't miss out on the fun. There are limits to what we can achieve, therefore please feel free to call us to discuss the individual drivers requirements.

A racing drivers shoes have very thin and flat rubber soles. This enables the driver to feel the pressure that he is asserting to the pedals. Professional simulator drivers wear similar boots or race barefoot. Normal shoes are fine, we don't recommend racing in high heels.

We have an extensive range of cars and circuits which we utilise to provide our drivers with the best experience possible. Classic open wheelers, modern F1 cars, touring and Rally cars are all available to race on a variety of terrains.

We recommend that our simulators be utilised by anyone from the age of 8 and up.

Yes, hence the minimum age of 8 upwards. Anyone shorter than the average 8 yr old would not be able to reach the pedals without adult assistance. The minimum height that we recommended is 140 cm.

We utilise bucket seats which can be found in racing cars. The seats are narrow fitting in order to offer the driver support. An individuals shape is therefore more relevant than their weight.

As we cater to a broad range of clients we utilise a variety of software in order to provide visitors to The Race Cave with the best racing experience possible. This enables us to host Formula 1, Touring car and Rally races suited to each drivers ability.

We are able to set the simulators to automatic or manual transmission depending on your skill level.

We have 20 Driving Simulators, therefore this is the maximum number of drivers that we are able to host indoors at any one time.

During your visit to The Race Cave you will be wanting to spend your time Racing on our Simulators and not at the dinner table. Group bookings vary considerably in length with packages typically anywhere from 1-8 hours. With this in mind we are able to offer solutions to suit each clients requirements. Our Red Bull Room is utilised both as a reception and spectator area. The use of the room as an area to enjoy food is included in some of our larger packages so that Drivers can refuel. We do not provide food, however you are welcome to bring your own or utilise one of the many popular food outlets located nearby including McDonalds, KFC, Nando’s, Dominoes and Franky and Benny’s.

Ask any F1 Driver and they will tell you that driving can be thirsty work! We have a selection of chilled drinks available in each of our rooms. When your package includes the use of our Red Bull Room you are welcome to bring your own.

We appreciate that coordinating a large group can be difficult and guests will arrive at different times. With this in mind we utilise our Red Bull Room as a reception area and advise that guests arrive no less than 15 minutes prior to the time of your booking for a ‘briefing session’. This will ensure that the racing is not delayed.
